Grief Support: Walking With You Through Loss
I understand that grief can feel overwhelming—like waves that crash over you when you least expect it. Having walked alongside many people through their darkest moments, I know that each person's experience of loss is deeply personal and deserving of gentle attention.
When you're hurting, sometimes what helps most isn't clinical techniques but simply having someone who can sit with you in your pain without trying to fix it. I create a warm, safe space where all your feelings—the anger, the numbness, the profound sadness—are welcomed and honoured.
Through mindfulness and compassion practices, we'll find ways to help you breathe through the most difficult moments. We'll discover how to honour your relationship with your loved one while gradually finding a path forward that feels meaningful.
I bring years of experience in mindfulness teaching and various therapeutic approaches, but most importantly, I bring my humanity and deep respect for your journey. Whether you're preparing for a loss or navigating life after one, you don't have to walk this path alone.
The pain of grief reflects the depth of your love. Together, we'll tend to your grief with the care it deserves, finding moments of peace and even joy — amidst profound sorrow.
MY OWN BACKGROUND
My professional journey into end-of-life care commenced during my hospice internship and a three-month retreat at a Buddhist monastery in Lhasa, Tibet, in 2006. Upon my return to Berlin at the age of 29, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, an experience which fundamentally shifted my perspective. Facing mortality directly deepened my belief in the importance of present-moment awareness, and I realised that preparing for death paradoxically awakens us to life's immediacy.
Working with homeless individuals who often died in isolation, their final wishes unknown, revealed a significant gap in end-of-life care. This experience led to a commitment to amplify the voices of those who often remain unheard – to articulate their fears, express their desires, and preserve their stories as life concludes.
My work has consistently revealed a universal truth that emerges for many as they approach life's end: that love, in its simplest and most profound form, remains the only thing that truly matters.

"There is some strange intimacy between grief and aliveness, some sacred exchange between what seems unbearable and what is most exquisitely alive."
— Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow
