ABOUT KATE WEIS, MSc
You don’t have to carry this all on your own.
I’m here to help you connect with your deepest values and sense of purpose to re-discover joy and meaning.
The trouble is, you think you have time. I have a message for you, the only time you actually have is the present moment.
We are often lost in the past, or we find ourselves worrying about the future — unable to touch life in the here and now.
When we are truly alive, everything we touch or do is a miracle.
To practice mindfulness is to return to life in the present moment.
HOW I WORK
At the core of my approach is a belief that shifting our perspective and embracing change is possible at any stage of life.
Hi, I’m Kate.
I help individuals who feel overwhelmed and stuck, connect with their deepest values and sense of purpose to re-discover joy and meaning.
As a therapist and mindfulness teacher, I am experienced in empowering you with tools and strategies for balance, resilience, and purpose.
Holding an MSc in Clinical Psychology, I received my initial training in Psychodynamic Therapy followed by specialised training in trauma-focused CBT and EMDR.
My approach is further enriched by Buddhist Psychology and training in mindfulness and compassion-based therapies, such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). With almost 20 years of clinical experience, I have developed a profound understanding of how mindfulness can be applied to address a wide range of psychological challenges,
Committed to my own long-standing practice, I teach from an embodied space of personal experience. and I have led workshops and courses on mindfulness, resilience, and values-based living for both mental health professionals and the general public.

Beyond the office
Outside of work, I enjoy music, travelling, reading, cooking, and long walks. I have maintained a personal meditation practice since 2001.
In 2008, I jumped in for the swim leg of a relay triathlon in a borrowed wetsuit and no crawl skills. I’ve been an open water swimmer ever since.
I used to play violin, I’m a breast cancer survivor and I ran Boston Marathon in under four hours. Despite my love of the ocean, I climbed Mount Aconcagua in Argentina and travelled the Chilean Atacama Desert on horseback.

Your story is
welcome here.
We have only now, only this single
eternal moment
opening and unfolding before us,
day and night.
